Lush Cosmetics seanik shampoo bar

So what is a shampoo bar? Well it's solid shampoo that you put into water and lather in in your hands. Why should you swap this from bottled shampoo? It lasts 4-6 months and helps save the environment.

It smells amazing, I really love this. It smells citrus like and very fresh. It has seaweed throughout the bar. It's made with only 12 ingredients. These include nori seaweed which is rich in nutrients. Irish moss gel to soften hair. Sea salt to exfoliate and lemon oil to give it the uplifting and refreshing scent.

It's £5.95 a bar and lasts between 4-6  month's-how great is that?!

I love this (even if it's my partners and not mine) and it leaves my hair smelling  amazing.

4.5/5.

Lush Cosmetics Movis Facial Soap

In another bid to tackle my problem skin I bought myself a facial soap. This is movis- a play on the bread brand hovis. It resembled bread and feels very spongy.

It is used to exfoliate skin. I usually look for something that smells nice for my face. However my skin disagrees with perfumed product. Movis smells like wholemeal bread, and Im not really a fan.

As a soap it lathers up really nicely and you need only a tiny bit to wash your face making it great value for money. It's £4/.50 for 100g.

It has cocoa butter to soften and condition the face. Wheat which is full of nutrients and coconut oil to moisturise the face.

It's a great soap and designed specifically for the face so it's perfect.

4/5

Lush Cosmetics sympathy for the skin

Sympathy for the skin is a hand and body lotion. It's buttery in texture and smells like chocolate milkshake (yum!).

I use this on my thighs. Being bigger, I do suffer chaffing really badly. After a particularly bad day of it I came home and cried. My legs were burning and hurting and nothing was helping. I decided to try my sympathy for the skin. It worked wonders. It worked straight away. My legs were instantly soothed and recovered from the next day.

Ingredients include bananas to nourish skin. Vanilla pods to comfort skin. Cocoa butter to soften and condition skin and sandalwood to soothe and uplift skin.

It smells devine, like a chocolate milkshake. This is in my top 5 lush smells.

I love this product- 4.5/5.

Lush Cosmetics skin drink moisturiser

Skin drink is a buttery textured moisturiser which I use in partner with ultrabland (see previous review). I use this to keep my skin feeling fresh and revitalised.

It's very soft and resembles melted milk chocolate. It smells musky and of sesame oil. The ingredients include rose petals to conditioning and soothing skin. Sesame oil to hydrate the skin and primrose oil to balance and restore skin. It leaves my skin feeling lovely and has aloe Vera to soothe my dry skin. It cools my skin right down and feels lovely before bed.

This is not a cheap product. It is £12.95 for 45g (which is not very big). However it does feel wonderful. However my skin is still red so I'm not sure how much this has really worked.

Worth a shot if your skin is causing bother.

Would give this 3.5/5.

Lush Cosmetics Ultrabland Cleanser

Another night of agony. I have very problematic skin, especially around my eyes. Above my eyebrows and under my eyes get very dry and red. I decided to visit my local lush store to see what they recommended.

So here I was being introduced to ultrabland, not aware it would change my skin forever! To use this product you rub it over your face and then wash it off with a wet cloth- hot water for best results.

It's waxy to touch and smells very smokey. I'm definitely not a fan of the smell- to me it smells like cigarettes. It aims to remove dirt and make up without stripping your skin from its natural defences. It claims that dirt will cling to the cream and then you wash it off.

It is made with rose water to calm and soothe the dry skin. It also has almond oil which hydrates skin. It also uses honey which is an antiseptic and takes the sting from the dryness. Beeswax gives this cream it's waxy texture which feels so beautiful and soft.

I use this every day and my skin has never felt better. It's soft to touch and helps calm down my problem eyes. The effect is still prominent hours after use.

I would highly recommend this product. It has genuinely changed my skin for the better. My only problem is the smell. However I did not buy the product for the smell so I cannot fault this product.

 5/5-, get this right now!

Lush cosmetics Fairly traded honey shampoo

Wow..just wow. I forgot I even had this! It came in a gift set and I never looked at it again. I gave it a try the other day and it worked wonders! I have unruly, frizzy/curly brunette hair, so I need to pick hair products carefully. This one smells very strongly of honey, a bit sickly on cold sniff. You literally need the tiniest amount, as the shampoo lathers up beautifully. It leaves your hair wonderfully soft, and with a heavenly smell. It includes ingredients such as fair trade honey, beeswax, linseed mucilage and neroli oil to help moisturise, nourish and uplift hair. This is great for dry hair as honey is known to nourish hair and leave it looking fantastic.
It's a great little product, smells great but rather sticky to use. Would give it 3.5 stars and would reccomend to people who suffer dry unruly hair.
